Reeves
Brown, an executive director for Club 20 will give a
presentation on Prop 101, Amend 60 & 61 and their effects on
Thursday, September 2nd at 7:00 p.m. at the Norwood
Community Center. After the presentation, there will
be a question and answer period.
The Norwood
Water Commission is accepting applications for the full-time
position of Water/Distribution Operator. A State of
Colorado Class D water certification and Class 1
distribution certification is desired. Applicant must
be willing to work weekends and willing to be on-call.
A job description and application may be picked up at the
Town Hall @ 1670 Naturita St. in Norwood Colorado. The
job description is also on this website under the water
dropdown.
Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
Salary will be based upon qualifications.
The Town of Norwood passed
an ordinance (see Town drop-down) requiring all businesses
who do business in the town, including itinerant businesses,
to purchase a business license. This will be in effect
starting July 1, 2010 and the cost is $25.00 annually.

The Norwood Water
Commission still has a position open for one member. This
position will be a two year term. This member shall be
a resident of the Town of Norwood, or else the owner of a
tap in the Town of Norwood. The position will be
appointed by the mayor and ratified by a majority vote of
the Board of Trustees. If you are interested in being
a Norwood Water Commission member, please send a letter of
